When Jeep introduced the Rubicon model in the TJ series in 2003 it didn’t bring a magically amazing off-road capable Jeep. The Rubicon set a new standard for off road Jeeps and added some invigoration to the Jeep lifestyle. For the past 20 years we have seen many changes but many of the elements that made the original Rubicon are still present in the Wrangler.
2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 20th Anniversary Edition Models – 4xe and 392
It’s interesting how the only two versions of the 20A edition are available only as a 4xe and a 392. This has definitely upset a few but in reality it should be something special. The 4xe is only a few years old but has quickly become more popular and the 392 is an instant classic (and possibly an endangered species). Another thing, both version of these Jeeps carry a price tag that’s not for the faint hearted, especially the 392 which nears $100K! The 20th Anniversary highlights what’s special about the Rubicon and how it has evolved over the past 20 years.
