					Air Ratchet

An air ratchet is a versatile
and useful tool that can function as both an air wrench and
a manual ratchet wrench.  A big plus about an air
ratchet is it's ability to fit in tight places and eliminate
the typical requirement of the arc when using a manual
ratchet.  Compressed air provides the power to these
tools, they can be quite noisy when in use.
					Similar to an impact wrench,
					air ratchets come in
varying sizes and torque powers and usually are reversible.
They also come in varying socket sizes to fit 1/4" drive all
					the way to 1/2"

					 Snap-On
makes a dual power mode air ratchet (shown right) that
features Snap-on's patent-pending Power Boost Muffler Bypass
					System that maximizes air
power performance and allows the ratchet to operate in two
different modes. In "Quiet Mode," the unit achieves 5-50 ft.
lbs. of torque at 200 rpm and operates with reduced noise
levels. In "Open Mode," the FAR7200 bypasses its muffler and
produces 5-70 ft. lbs. of torque at 260 rpm for jobs that
require maximum power. The tool also features a manual
function and provides up to 135 ft. lbs. of torque in this
					setting.
