Swamper TSL Radial Review

We installed a set 33" Radial TSL's on Glenn's 85 CJ-7.  These tires have definitely proved themselves.  The on-road handling has been good and the off road has been even better.  These tires are not too noisy on the road.  Air pressure and wear seem to be a factor in the noise.  The radial version of the Swamper tire is somewhat less aggressive than is non-radial cousin but is still more aggressive than most mud radial tires. 

The TSL (Three Stage Lug) design provides extra traction and sidewall protection.  These tires are a softer compound than the non-radial version which provides better grip on rocks.  The self cleaning in mud is excellent and traction in the deep gooey stuff is sure.

Overall this tire is a good marriage of street and trail.  Long term wear has been good and typical of a tire of this type.
