Truck Avenger Carburetor Review
For years
offroaders needed to modify Holley carburetors to get them
to work properly off road. The configuration of the
fuel bowl vents made them flood the engine on inclines
easily. By placing a tube from on end of the bowl
vents that connected the front to the back the flooding
problem could be reduced. Also, the needle and seats
needed springs to control fuel flow over bouncy terrain.

Holley finally
got the message and developed a carb that seems to fit the
bill for us Jeepers. We tested one of these on Mike's
77 CJ-7 with excellent results. The Jeep was subjected
to inclines, declines, bumps and off camber angles with no
problems. The electric choke worked well and starting
was smooth and easy. The carb's performance on the 360
was what one would expect from a Holley 4BBL. We are
pleased that Holley took the time to provide us with a carb
that is friendly off road and a true performer.
