Mike’s 1977 CJ-7. The equipment list is rather extensive on this Jeep. A perfect combination of good looks and serious trail-worthy make this Jeep incredible.
This list of modifications is extensive. Under the hood is an essentially stock rebuilt AMC 360 equipped with an Edelbrock intake and a Holley Truck Avenger carburetor. That engine is hooked up to a TH 400 ended with a Dana 20 transfer case equipped with a TeraLow. At the ends of the driveline are custom drive shafts and a Dana 44 wide-trak front axle with 4.56 gears. The rear is a wide-trak AMC 20 with a Detroit Locker, 4:56 gears, and Warn Full Floater. At the ends of the axles are a set of 35X12.50 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain Tires on Outlaw wheels.
The Jeep’s suspension is comprised of a BDS 3.5″ Wrangler Lift with Rancho RS9000 shocks, a MORE shackle reversal. Rock Equipment u-bolt skids and shackle hangers.
The list goes on…
- Warn XD8000i Winch
- Olympic front bumper
- Custom rear tire carrier
- Sun rocker guards
- On-board air system
- Stainless sway bar disconnects
- Tie rod flip
- Optima Battery
- Rear rocker guards
- Wrangler YJ soft top with YJ half doors
The coolest thing about this Jeep is the custom made front fenders that merge a set of TJ flares to the CJ fender. Many man-hours went into making these just right.
The custom made front fenders allow a near perfect installation of TJ flares on a CJ.
