Begin by installing the fixed end of the spring, install the bolt and nut but leave loose for now. We chose to use our own steel caster shims and removed the OME ones. Doing this requires holding the spring pack together with a clamp or the leaves will separate.

With the shims install install the shackles and raise the spring to bolt the lower shackle mount. Install the bolts but leave loose. Position the axle on the leaf center pins and begin installation of the u-bolts. If the old bolts are worn or appear stretched new ones should be installed. Just snug the u-bolts for now.

Shocks
Prepare the shocks by installing the bushings then install the shocks to the mounts.

At this point reconnect the sway bar and the front is near completed. Rear procedure is near identical without the sway bar and conversion shackle mount.
