Since 2020 was canceled due to the pandemic the 2021 PA Jeeps All Breeds Jeep show became the official 25th Anniversary event. 25 years and a brand new venue at the Carlisle Fairgrounds made this already incredible Jeep show even more interesting.
After moving from the York fair after 2019 the new facility offered a larger space for more show, more activities and more vendors. We were impressed.
We decided to make a weekend out of a trip to Carlisle and spend some time exploring this historic town and find some things to do and see.
Skid Row was gracious enough to open their facility, which is only a few miles away on Friday night to allow fellow Jeepers to gather and check out each other’s rides as well as enjoy some amazing bbq.
Of course when exploring a new town finding a nice place to eat and enjoy an adult beverage is on the top of our list. Molly Pitcher Brewing, Grand Illusion Hard Cider and Hook and Flask got top stars in our book. If BBQ is your thing (it’s ours) you need to stop in to Redd’s Smokehouse – true South Carolina style BBQ. For ice cream and burgers check out Twirly Top and for some European flare grab some frites at Cafe Bruges.
