Wow, there’s another year and as expected the event was larger than ever. The festival organizers continue to improve the weekend and add more and more things to do. The worst part about it is having to wait a whole year to return.
Off to Butler – Packed up and ready we started the long drive to Butler. We stayed at our favorite hotel and began the first full day after packing ourselves with a mediocre complimentary hotel breakfast.
Friday at Cooper Lake is a bit quiet. It’s a good opportunity to wander around and speak to the vendors about new and current products. Trail rides come and go all day as well as the swap meet buzzes with early shoppers. The big even on Friday night is the Butler Jeep Invasion. For several hours the town of Butler is taken over by Jeep vehicles. Owners park their Jeeps along the main street as well as most of the side streets. Thousands of people walk about taking in all the customization each owner will do.
Saturday is filled with stuff to do back at Cooper Lake such as trail rides, obstacle course, vendors, food, show, Jeep museum and so much more.

Around the Weekend – A photo album of pictures from all over the weekend.
The Names of Bantam – Within the show is a section called “Best of Bantam”, these owners enter their Jeeps to be judged in an effort to be the best of their class. In recent years we’ve noticed that more Jeep owners are naming their Jeeps. Just for fun we collected every name we could find.
