I have been messing around with the various tweaks one can make to their JK’s power locks. The factory setting wasn’t quite good enough for me so I went investigating and perfecting the procedure for making these lock settings good for me.
1. The JK locks all it’s doors when you hit about 15 mph, this is fine but when you stop and need to get into the back you need to unlock all the doors. I have had countless times leaving the Jeep, then walking back to unlock the doors to get in. There is a lock setting that still auto-locks the doors but unlocks all when you open either front door.
2. The honk when you lock it using the fob, it is loud and disturbing. I turned that off so only the lights flash when the Jeep is locked.
