We decided on a budget lift for the jeepfan.com JK. The JK sees more street than trail for now and the stock ride is nice. The JK Unlimited Rubicon sits good but a little boost will make any Jeep look more stout.
The lift of choice was a TeraFlex 2.5″ Budget Boost, this is a complete kit that requires no modification or drilling. The kit we chose also features special shock adapters so the stock shocks can be reused. The Rubicion is factory equipped with gas charged shocks designed for off road use, it would be a shame to not use them.
We picked up the kit from OK Auto 4WD & Tire in Stewartsville, NJ and dug into the install.
