CJ T-18 Transmission Swap Speedometer Cable Connection

QUESTION: I have a 79 Jeep CJ5 I have taken to the frame, fully restored, and modified.  It has a 360cu with Holley throttle body injection.  I installed a rebuilt T18 Tranny behind it and I’m wondering will the stock speedometer cable attach to the T18 up to the speedometer?  If so, where does the speedometer cable attach to the tranny?

ANSWER: The speedometer cable attaches to the transfer case near the rear output and yes you can use the same cable. See image below..the opening was taped to protect it during installation.  The image is part of the jeepfan.com 78 CJ-5 frame swap project.
