We’ve been documenting our fuel experience with the 4xe and this particular tank is a favorite so far. We managed to drive almost 1028 miles on 14 gallons of gas. Looking at the breakdown you can see that we drove 796.9 miles on electric and 231 on gas. This tank lasted 38 days!
Doing some math shows that the true gas mileage is about 17 mpg which is similar to our 2018 V6 JL. The 4xe was charged 37 times in those 38 days. Some simple math calculates that to approximately $48 worth of electric ($.086 per kWh)
14.03 gallons at $3.35 = $47.28
37 charges = $48
Total = $95.28
