Lane's 1983 CJ7 is
rather massive looking I'm sure it's a great performer just look at it's
features. The list goes like this...
The engine is an AMC 360 V8 with a
Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock intake, Competition Cams cam, MSD ignition and a K&N
air filter.
Axles are Dana/Currie 44 and Ford 9". Both house Detroit
Lockers and 3.73 gears.
Transmission is a T18a with a granny first.
Lift
includes a Spring Over Axle conversion and a 4" BDS lift.
4 rancho
9000 shocks (31" shock travel.)
Other stuff is a Tri-county SOA steering
conversion (cost a pretty penny) 12,000lb Warn winch, custom stainless front
bumper, full roll cage, beard seats and RCI 4 point harness.
Some recent
additions include 38.5x14.50x15 Swamper TSL/SX tires, stainless bumpers, and 86'd
the chrome steps.
